Facetime Story Time

We got a great tip from family about how to keep long distance grandparents involved in your child's life and we love that it can also help build our son's language skills at the same time.  We sent my husband's parents home with some Chinese storybooks that we had around the house that my husband can't read (too advanced!) so that when we Facetime with them they'll have a fun activity he can look forward to.  

Having a conversation with a toddler can be tough but story time always is a winner! It gives them something to talk about on the phone, a way to keep developing their relationship, he learns a little language at the same time and also he gets to practice with two fluent grandparents.  win. win, win and win.
